**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) In the present writ petition, the grievance which is being raised by the petitioner is that her husband died while in service in November, 2011. Thereafter, she filed a CWP No.10616 of 2016 seeking the release of the benefits for which she was entitled for, after the death of her husband. During the pendency of the said writ petition, the benefits for which the petitioner was entitled for was released i.e. amounting to `6,51,398/- and in respect of the grant of interest, she was given liberty to pursue the same separately.

Counsel for the petitioner argues that keeping in view the liberty granted by this Court, vide order dated 04.07.2016 passed in CWP No.10616 of 2016, petitioner filed a representation dated 28.05.2018 (Annexure P-1) to the respondents for the grant of interest on the amount, NARESH KUMAR 2019.05.10 11:25 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

CWP-12011-2019 -2which was released to her after a delay of approximately four years. Counsel for the petitioner states that the said representation dated 28.05.2018 (P-1) has been kept pending and no decision has been given by the respondents so far though the same was submitted on 28.05.2018.

Counsel for the petitioner further states that at this stage petitioner will be satisfied in case a time bound direction is issued to the respondents to decide the said representation by passing an appropriate order.

In view of the request made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the claim being made by the petitioner, respondents are directed to decide the representation dated 28.05.2018 (Annexure P-1) by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. Present writ petition stands disposed of.
