ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) Prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus for releasing the detenue namely Kamalpreet Kaur, aged 16 years and to hand over her custody to the petitioner Hardeep Kaur, who is mother and natural guardian of the detenue. Reply by way of affidavit of the Senior Superintendent of Police, Fatehgarh Sahib, is on record and as per the reply, the detenue has left the home because of the maltreatment at the instance of the petitioner and thereafter, she has started staying with respondent No.5 and has filed CRWP No.4507 of 2021, praying for protection. It is further stated that the custody of the detenue was handed over to respondent No.5 as per the order dated 18.05.2021 passed in CRWP No.4507 of 2021 and she is living peacefully and there is no threat to her life and liberty and she do not want to return back to her mother i.e. the present petition.

In view of the above, no further action is called for. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous.
