Mr. Ankur Sharma, Sr. Panel Counsel, for Union of India-respondents No. 1 and 2.
*** Sudhir Mittal, J. (Oral) Allegedly, the objection of adverse police verification report is not entitled to be accepted because as on date only one FIR is pending, the other having been quashed. Even in the second FIR, a cancellation report has been filed. As per the records, the application for re-issuance of passport is pending review in the office of the Regional Passport Officer. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of as being premature. The petitioner should approach the concerned Regional Passport Office and follow up his application.
