The petitioners pray for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondents to pay interest on the belated payment of annuity to the petitioners, for the years 2013 to 2015. Such annuity amount is payable under the policy adopted by the State of Haryana on 09.11.2010. Apart from the compensation for the acquired land, the landowners have been granted concession of payment of annuity amount as per the policy for a period of 33 years. The aforesaid policy itself envisages a Committee to resolve the disputes with regard to payment of annuity. 2.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, let the District Level Committee consider the legal notice (Annexure P-7), sent by the petitioners and pass an appropriate order, within a period of one month, from today.
