Dated Police Station Sections 22.4.2024 Sadar Palwal, District Palwal 7, 13 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (PC Act) and Section 384 IPC 1.
The petitioner, arraigned as accused in the above captioned FIR, has come up before this Court under Section 482 CrPC for quashing of the FIR and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom. 2.
After arguing for some time, but facing stiff opposition from the State, petitioner's counsel wants to withdraw the present petition with following prayers: i) The complainant is alleged to be a whistle blower and not a victim, but because of his complaint, petitioner's career is now on the verge of being ruined;
ii) State has not complied with the provisions of Section 17A of the PC Act. 3.
The nature of order this Court proposes to pass, no formal response is required from the State.

Given the nature of allegations against the petitioner, it would be in the interest of justice to direct the investigator to make an endeavour to complete the investigation within six months.
