Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner, who is old lady of 70 years of age, is resident of Alwar and her son Hari Singh is now confined in District Jail, Bhondsi (Gurugram). The petitioner has represented to Jail Authorities to transfer her son to District Jail, Alwar but no action has been taken on her representation. Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondents to look into the representation Annexure P-1 made by petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

However, it is made clear that nothing contained in this order shall be interpreted as giving any direction to the respondents to transfer the convict to District Jail, Alwar until or unless merits of the representation so warrant.
