Prayer in this petition, filed under Section 482, Cr.P.C., is for the issuance of direction to respondent Nos. 2 and 3 not to harass the petitioners and their family members and to protect lives and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent Nos.4 to 6. The petitioners contend that they being major, have solemnized their marriage in accordance with law. They further submit that respondent Nos. 4 to 6 are not accepting their

marriage and adamant to separate them from each other by resorting to illegal means. They further submit that in view of the imminent danger to their lives and liberty, the petitioners already moved a representation (Annexure P-7) before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur, and the Station House Officer, Police Station, Sadar, Ferozepur. 2.

Keeping in view the seriousness of the matter but without going into the validity of the marriage, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur, to take action as warranted by law on the representation moved by the petitioners and in the meantime to issue necessary orders to ensure that no harm is caused to the lives and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent Nos. 4 to 6.

At this stage, the petitioners made oral request stating that they (petitioners) have imminent danger to their lives, inasmuch as, respondent Nos.4 to 6 have tried to take away petitioner No. 1 forcibly. A prayer has been made by the petitioners to send them to the Protection Home, Sector 19, Chandigarh, by providing police protection.

In view of the above, the Station House Officer, Police

Station, Sector 3, Chandgiarh, is directed to arrange and provide police protection to the petitioners and send them to the Protection Home, Sector 19, Chandigarh, for two days as prayed by the petitioners.

A copy of this order be given under the signatures of the Court Secretary of this Court.
