Rattu, DAG, Punjab --- SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) The instant petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C., has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in GDR No.33 dated 20.7.2023, under Sections 323, 324, 148, 149 of the IPC, 1860 (Section 326 IPC added vide GDR No.9 dated 17.11.2013) in FIR No.109, dated 19.7.2023, under Sections 323, 341, 34 IPC, 1860, registered at Police Station Sadar Ferozepur, District Ferozepur.

This Court vide order dated 1.5.2024, while issuing notice of motion, granted the concession of interim bail to the petitioner, subject to his joining the investigation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in pursuance to the order dated 1.5.2024, the petitioner has joined the investigation. 4.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from HC Paramjeet Singh, does not controvert the said fact and further submits that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required. 5.

In view of the above, the order dated 1.5.2024 is made absolute. 6.
