Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner raised some property dispute in the representation to Commissioner of Police, Amritsar but he does not press for the same in this petition. He confines his submission only for grant of security to the life and liberty of the petitioner.

In view of submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no. 2Commissioner of Police, Amritsar City to verify the allegations as alleged by the petitioner concerning threat of her life and liberty and take appropriate action, if required, in accordance with law. However, it is made clear that nothing contained in this order shall be interpreted as giving any opinion regarding the plea raised by the petitioner regarding threat to her life and liberty or giving protection to her from any legal action, taken by any competent authority or in any civil, criminal or any other proceedings against her in accordance with law.
