This petition has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for the grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.0072 dated 03.08.2016, registered under Sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act, at Police Station Bakhshiwala, District Patiala.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage, he seeks bail for the petitioner only on the ground that the report from the Forensic Science Laboratory is not there, which would prove that the petitioner was not in possession of narcotics. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Lakhbir Singh, submits that the report from the Forensic Science Laboratory, Kharar has been received and the same has been appended along with the challan, Monika 2017.01.31 17:36 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Crl. Misc. No. M-42814 of 2016 which has already been filed by the prosecution before the competent Court. In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the present petition.
