**** HARKESH MANUJA, J. (ORAL) Dispute in the present case is only with respect to grant of 100% solatium along with interest as per the provisions of Section 30 and 1st Schedule of The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 for the acquisition of land owned by the petitioners in terms of provisions of The National Highways Act, 1956.

[2] The contention raised on behalf of the petitioners is that though the award was passed by the Sub Divisional Magistrate-cumCompetent Authority Land Acquisition, Sri Anandpur Sahib, District Rupnagar (Punjab) on 21.09.2015, yet, no solatium was paid whereas, in terms of the settled law, the petitioners-landowners are entitled to 100% solatium.

C.W.P. No. 10385 of 2026 (O&M) [2] Mr. Gunjan Mehta, Additional Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.3.

[5] Faced with the aforesaid contention, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent No.3-State on instructions from the officer concerned submits that award with respect to grant of 100% solatium along with other benefits shall be passed within two weeks from today and a copy thereof shall be immediately forwarded to respondent No.2. [6] Learned counsel for respondent No.2-NHAI submits that as soon as the copy of supplementary award is served upon it, the necessary payment shall be released in favour of the petitioners in terms thereof within two weeks thereafter.

[7] In view of the aforesaid undertaking, the present petition stands disposed of.

[8] Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
