(Oral) The petitioners seek grant of the anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in a case bearing FIR No.338 dated 17.12.2021 under Sections 325, 326, 308, 148 and 149 IPC registered with Police Station Ajnala, District Amritsar.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that pursuant to the interim order dated 26.05.2022 passed by this Court, the petitioners have joined the investigation.

The learned State counsel on instructions from SI Jugraj Singh submits that the petitioners have joined the investigation in terms of the order dated 26.05.2022 and is not required for custodial interrogation. In this view of the matter, interim order dated 26.05.2022 is made absolute.

However, the petitioners shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so and they shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

The petition stands disposed of.
