The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing respondent No.1-Punjab Educational Tribunal, Mohali to expeditiously adjudicate and decide Petition No.82 of 2016 titled as 'Mrs. Poonam Gupta Vs. State of Punjab and others' (Annexure P-16) instituted by the petitioner in the year 2016, under Section 7-A of Punjab Affiliated Colleges (Security of Services of Employees) Act, 1974 as amended upto date.

Mr. Satnampreet Singh Chauhan, D.A.G., Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.1. Mr. M.K. Dogra, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of respondents No.2 to 4-University. Mr. Sarabjot Singh, Advocate has put in appearance and accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.5 to 7. They have no objection to the innocuous prayer made in the petition.
