The petitioner is the owner of 7 kanals & 5 marlas of land, situated in village Aujla, Tehsil and District Gurdaspur. The Union Government has issued the notifications under Section 3-A and 3-D of the National Highways Act, 1956 (hereinafter referred to as "the 1956 Act"). The petitioner claims that she is the owner of gair mumkin land, whereas in the notifications issued by the Union of India, it has been shown "agriculture land". The petitioner is stated to have filed the representations/objections before the competent authority. 2.
Through this writ petition, the petitioner prays that the competent authority be directed to consider the objections filed by the petitioner before passing an award as provided under Section 3-G of the 1956 Act.
