(Oral) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.34 dated 04.04.2019 under Sections 406/498A/494 IPC registered at Police Station Dera Baba Nanak, Police District Batala, Gurdaspur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that after filing the present petition, the matter has been compromised between the parties and on the basis of such compromise, the complainant is residing along with the petitioner in her matrimonial home. Even a petition under Section 482 CrPC, seeking quashing of the FIR in question, has also been filed on the basis of compromise.

Criminal Misc. No. M-20525 of 2019 -2- In view of the aforesaid, the present petition is allowed and the interim order dated 06.05.2019, whereby the arrest of the petitioner was stayed, is made absolute.
