**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J.(Oral) The case has been taken up for hearing through videoconferencing. Petitioner has filed the complaint before respondent No.4 on 27.04.2021 in respect of forcibly harvesting of wheat crop by the accused persons. The information was duly received in the police station, Ajnala in respect of commission of cognizable offence, but no action was taken by respondent No.4. On the same day, the petitioner approached respondent AMANDEEP GOSAIN 2021.09.01 17:44 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document



   No.2 with his grievance and the said representation is still pending before respondent No.2.

By referring to the aforesaid facts, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already complied with the requirement of Section 154 Cr.P.C and respondent No.2 is obligated to decide the representation in accordance with law.

Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Amar Ashok Pathak, Addl., A.G., Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the State. In view of nature of order, which this Court proposes to pass there is no necessity of calling upon reply at this stage, as no order prejudicial to the interest of respondents is being passed.

At this stage, without embarking upon merits of the case, this petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.2 to decide the representation of the petitioner within a period of one month in accordance with law without being influenced by any statement of fact recorded hereinabove.
