(Oral) The instant Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing respondents No.2 and 3 to initiate departmental action against respondents No.4 to 7 and any other officials who are found to be involved in the misappropriation and embezzlement of MGNREGA funds.

Pursuant to the advance copy of petition, having been supplied to the State, Ms. Upasana Dhawan, AAG, Haryana, appears on behalf of the respondent-State. She, on instructions from Mr. Surjit Singh, BDPO, submits that the matter has already been enquired into by the Lokpal, MGNREGA and finding no merit in the complaint/allegation, the complaint has been ordered to be closed vide order dated 14.05.2025. 3.
