The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus for releasing the detenue namely Harpreet Kaur from the illegal custody of respondent Nos.5 to 7.

Learned State counsel on instructions submits that Harpreet Kaur, who the petitioner had alleged to be illegally detained by respondent Nos.5 to 7 wants to live with her parents.

An affidavit of Harpreet Kaur has also been filed by learned counsel for respondent Nos.5 to 7, wherein it is stated that she does not want to accompany the petitioner and wants to live with her parents. 4.

Faced with this, the petitioner does not press the petition. 5.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed. 6.
