**** INDERJIT SINGH, J.

Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.290 dated 09.07.2014 under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 387 IPC registered at Police Station Sector-7, Faridabad.

Notice of motion was issued and learned State counsel as well as learned counsel for the complainant appeared and contested the petition.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties as well as learned State counsel and have gone through the record. From the record, I find that the only allegation against the VINEET GULATI 2015.01.08 16:11 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CRM No.M-42098 of 2014 -2petitioner is that he has connived with the official of RTO office and got the endorsement of their firm on the Registration Certificate. The petitioner has already joined the investigation and he is not required for custodial interrogation. The case is mainly based on documentary evidence. No useful purpose will be served by sending the petitioner to custody.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case, and without discussing the merits of the case in minute details and without expressing any opinion on the merit of the case, I find it a fit case where petitioner is entitled to benefit of anticipatory bail. Therefore, the present petition is allowed. The order dated 10.12.2014 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute.
