Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for directing the respondents to consider claim of petitioner for promotion to the post of Lecturer (History) with effect from due date by fixing her seniority as per merit list. At the outset, learned counsel, on instructions from petitioner, submits that her substantial grievance has been redressed; thus present petition be disposed off with liberty to raise her grievance before the authorities regarding ancillary claim.

Ordered accordingly.

In case petitioner make request within four weeks from today, the same shall be considered in accordance with law by passing reasoned order within next eight weeks.
