Petitioner seeks issuance of appropriate directions for conducting free and fair investigation pursuant to FIR No. 182 dated 25.06.2015 registered under sections 379/506/34 IPC at police station Salem Tabri, district Ludhiana.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has already submitted representation, Annexure P-3 to Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana. According to counsel, investigation is not fair as no action has been taken despite registration of FIR in June, 2015. Heard.

In my considered view, mere fact that investigation is still pending does not show that investigation is not free and fair. Petition is totally frivolous. Tendency to file such petitions need to be discouraged. Same is dismissed with `10,000/- as costs to be remitted to Punjab State Legal Services Authority.
