Tamana and Yogesh Kumar, the writ petitioners before this Court, claim themselves to be major. They have pleaded that they have married against the wishes of respondent No.4 and 5 and seek protection to their life and liberty. They apprehend danger from respondent No.4 and 5. They have placed on record the marriage certificate (Annexure P5), evidencing their marriage. The writ petitioners have submitted a representation dated 27.07.2020 (Annexure P6) to respondent No.2. Without entering upon an exercise to evaluate the evidentiary value of the documents placed on the file, this Court disposes of the present writ petition with directions to respondent No.2 to decide the representation of the writ petitioners (Annexure P6) within a period of one month and grant them protection, if any threat to their life and liberty is perceived.
