The present petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to consider the claim of the petitioner raised vide representations dated 11.04.2016 (Annexure P-1) and 17.09.2024 (Annexure P10) in the light of the verification report (received through RTI dated 07.01.2025/30.01.2025) (Annexure P-15) submitted by SDM, Moga to issue licence of typist as well as transfer booth No.55 in the name of the petitioner as the original booth holder, namely, Darshan Singh, Document Writer, Court Complex, Moga has since been expired and the family of aforesaid Darshan Singh (since expired) has already executed an affidavit dated 14.06.2024 in favour of the petitioner. However, the claim of the petitioner has not yet been considered by respondent No.2.
