Through this petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C., the petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No. 136 dated 29.10.2016, registered under Sections 420, 120-B IPC, at Police Station Division No. 2, District Pathankot.
While issuing notice of motion on 01.12.2016, this Court had granted ad-interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner, subject to her joining investigation and conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. Learned State counsel submits that the petitioner has joined investigation. However, her passbooks, where the amount of pension credited in her account is reflected, are needed from the petitioner. Crl. Misc. No. M-42976 of 2016 the same to ASI, Ramesh Kumar, who is also present in the Court. In view of the above, learned State counsel submits that the petitioner is no longer required, at this stage, for any further questioning by the investigating agency.
