Petitioner seeks concession of regular bail in a case registered against him under section 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act vide FIR No. 135 dated 07.06.2017 at police station Sadar Jalandhar. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. Thus, he deserves the concession of bail. Learned State counsel has opposed the prayer for bail. He submits that prosecution shall endeavor to lead its evidence as expeditiously as possible.

Admittedly, quantity of contraband recovered from the petitioner is stated to be commercial in nature. 70 injection of Rexogesic (2ml each) were found which comes to 140 grams.
