Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter-alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to re-fix the pay of petitioner notionally as well as seniority from the date persons of the same selection were appointed vide letter dated 18.01.2016 (P-5).
At the outset, learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioner submitted that instead of pressing the present petition on merits, his client would be satisfied in case the representation dated 13.10.2021 (P-6) is decided expeditiously.
