Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the purpose would be achieved if respondent No.2 - Director General of Police, Punjab, is directed to look into representation dated 30.10.2017 (Annexure P-1) moved by the petitioners.
Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners and after perusing the paper-book, but without commenting on merits of the case, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 - Director General of Police, Punjab, to decide the representation of the petitioners dated 30.10.2017 (Annexure P-1) after hearing the petitioner by passing a speaking order.
