(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner, in a case arising out of FIR No. 133 dated 15.10.2016, registered at Women Police Station Karnal, who has been booked for having committed the offence punishable under Section 8 of POCSO Act.

Learned State counsel on instruction states that all the 09 prosecution witnesses have been examined and the trial is now fixed for 21.01.2017 for recording of defence evidence. Learned counsel for the petitioner on the other hand states that an application under Section 311 Cr.P.C has been moved for further cross examination of the victim.

Faced with the aforesaid situation, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the petition.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
