**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J. (Oral) Grievance of the petitioner is that despite the work done to the satisfaction of the competent authority, an amount of Rs.76,22,422/- has not been released despite passing of running bill dated 07.03.2022.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already issued a demand notice dated 19.04.2022 and the petitioner would be satisfied in case its representation is directed to be decided by the addressee of the same i.e. respondent No.2 by passing a speaking order in accordance with law.

CWP No. 11722 of 2022 -2On the asking of the Court, Ms. Aakanksha, A.A.G., Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider the pending demand notice dated 19.04.2022 got issued by the petitioner and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. If the claim of the petitioner is established with reference to record, then the payment be released to the petitioner forthwith.

If the claim of the petitioner is not worth acceptance, then a copy of decision be supplied to the petitioner at the earliest.
