Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, but without commenting anything as regards the merits of the assertions made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2Commissioner of Police, Police Commissionerate, Jalandhar, to get the representation dated 14.03.2023 (Annexure P-7) examined qua the limited extent of the alleged threat perception of the petitioner in accordance with law. In case, it is found that there is genuine threat to life and liberty of the petitioner, then necessary steps warranted under law be taken thereupon.
