(ORAL) This Court was pleased to pass the following order on 09.11.2017 :- "This is a petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, in the event of arrest, in case FIR No. 40 dated 25.08.2017, under Section 498-A IPC at Women Police Station, Jalandhar, District Jalandhar. Heard.

On the oral request of learned counsel for the petitioner, complainant Nisha d/o Ashok Kumar, r/o WD-35, Ali Mohalla, Bazaar Sheikhan, Jalandhar, District Jalandhar is impleaded as respondent No. 2 to this petition.

Notice of motion for 17.02.2018.

Meanwhile, in the event of arrest, the petitioner be released on interim bail subject to his furnishing personal bonds and surety to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation.

Learned counsel for the respondent-State, on instructions from ASI Ravi Kumar, confirms the factum of joining investigation by the petitioner while filing reply by way of affidavit of Maninder Pal Singh, Assistant Commissioner of Police Investigation, Jalandhar on behalf of the respondent-State.

Since the petitioner has joined the investigation, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 09.11.2017 is hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner will not tamper with evidence or hamper the investigation; will not leave India without permission of the Court and will comply with the conditions contained in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. 31.08.2018 (JAISHREE THAKUR) Satyawan JUDGE Whether speaking/reasoned Yes.
