(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking issuance of necessary and appropriate directions to the respondents to apprise about the status of the complaint dated 09.12.2020 (Annexure P3). At the very outset, the learned Senior counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the filing of the present petition, an SIT was constituted which has found that no offence is made out and a cancellation report in that regard is submitted before the Illaqa Magistrate on 02.06.2022. He contends that the petitioner was never associated during the course of investigation which ultimately culminated in the filing of the cancellation report. challenge the cancellation report or to avail her other legal remedies in accordance with the law.

The learned counsel for respondent No.5 submits that the cancellation report was rightly filed.

The learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Bishan Singh, has apprised the Court that the cancellation report has been filed and is pending adjudication before the concerned Illaqa Magistrate for 14.07.2022.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of with the liberty to the petitioner to avail her alternative remedies in accordance with law. It is, however, made clear that nothing stated hereinabove shall be construed as an expression of any opinion on the merits of the case and the Trial Court is free to proceed in accordance with law.
