-.- JAISHREE THAKUR J. (ORAL) The instant writ petition has been filed seeking to challenge the order dated 17.02.2020 whereby the petitioner has been removed as President of the Managing Committee.
In brief, the facts are that respondent No.1-Baldev Singh came to be elected as Chairman of respondent No.2-Society in the year 2016. On account of the fact that respondent No.1 had not called for an Annual General Body meeting as specified under the Rules, he was removed from the chairmanship and petitioner herein was elected. However, respondent No.1 challenged his removal and by an order dated 17.02.2020, he was reinstated, thereby displacing the petitioner. Aggrieved against the said order, the instant writ petition has been filed. This matter has been called thrice and no one has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner, as was the position on the last date of hearing.
Learned counsel for respondent No.1 would submit that the instant writ petition has been rendered infructuous as fresh elections have PANKAJ KUMAR 2022.09.01 10:54 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
