RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Through this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for quashing/setting aside order dated 02.07.2018, declaring the petitioner as proclaimed offender in case FIR No.33 dated 12.04.2014 registered under Sections 417, 420 and 493 IPC pertaining to Police Station Shahpurkandi, Pathankot.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Sohail Chand, confirms that petitioner has surrendered before the trial Court in compliance of order dated 01.10.2018 and has been released on interim bail. Therefore, said order is made absolute.

However, this order shall not be an embargo for the trial Court to proceed against the petitioner pursuant to order dated 02.07.2018 whereby he was declared proclaimed offender, in accordance with law and pass appropriate order.
