(ORAL) The instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of a direction to respondent No.3 to mark an inquiry into the matter regarding planting of false Calandra rapat No. 16 dated 18.06.2016 registered under Sections 107/150 Cr.P.C. at Police Station NRI, Commission Gate, Jalandhar.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that a representation (Annexure P-3) has already been preferred to respondent No.3 on 21.11.2016 but the same is yet to be decided. It is also argued that at the present moment only a limited prayer is made that the said representation should be decided.

Mr. Mikhail Kad, learned AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State. Let two copies of the petition be served upon him during the course of the day. He submits that the matter will be looked into as expeditiously as possible.
