(Oral) Learned State counsel has made statement that both the petitioners have made statements before the police, copy of which is placed on record as Annexure R-1/T, that there is no threat to their live and personal liberty and they do not require any police protection. In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives in the present petition which has been rendered infructuous and is dismissed as such. However, the official respondents are directed that if any instance regarding threat to life and liberty of the petitioners is brought to their notice, they shall take necessary action immediately, as per law.
