The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking directions to the respondents to release her family pension.

Mr. Aman Dhir, DAG, Punjab, at the outset, submits that application of the petitioner was considered and her claim has been accepted. The matter has been further referred to office of the Accountant General.

Faced with this, Mr.Ambanshu Sahni, Advocate submits that office of Accountant General has not received recommendations of the competent authority.
