Seeking direction to the respondents to present challan in the FIR, captioned above, the petitioners have come up before this Court by filing the present petition under Section 482 CrPC.

Counsel for the petitioners submits that they have already filed a representation to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Vigilance Bureau, Patiala (Annexure P-2) and they would be contended and satisfied if their representation is decided in a time bound manner.

Notice served upon the official respondent through State's counsel. The nature of order this Court proposes to pass, no further response is required from the respondent-State.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed with a direction to respondent no.1-SSP to decide the representation (Annexure P-2) of the petitioners himself or by appointing any other officer not below the rank of DSP within a period of three months from today, by passing a reasoned and speaking order. Order so passed be also communicated to the representationist without any delay.
