The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 10 & 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, for punishing the respondent for disobeying the order dated 01.08.2007, passed by the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, U.T. Chandigarh. The Consumer Protection Act, 1986, enables the authorities constituted thereunder to implement its orders. In any case, this petition has been filed after a period of 15 years.
