H. S. Madaan, J. (Oral) This is a petition for quashing of FIR No. 5 dated 28.6.2018 for offences under Sections 498/A, 406, 120-B IPC, registered at Police Station NRI, District Jalandhar Rural, which is still at the stage of investigation.

On completion of investigation, if the allegations levelled by the complainant are not proved, the petitioners may not be challaned and may be given a clean chit. As such the petitioners are relegated the remedy of raising all these pleas before the Investigating Agency. The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
