Case is being taken up for hearing through Video Conferencing due to the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic. 2.

Learned counsel contends that despite order of this Court dated 18.12.2019, directing decision of the appeal and in the alternative the stay application preferably within six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order and till such time the same was not done, order of removal of the petitioner dated 13.09.2019, was to remain in abeyance but till date neither the appeal or stay application had been decided nor the petitioner reinstated.

Notice to the respondent to show cause as to why proceedings under the Contempt of Court Act, 1971 be not initiated against him for noncompliance with the orders of this Court dated 18.12.2019, in CWP No.34025 of 2019.

Mr. Hitesh Pandit, Addl. AG, Haryana, accepts notice, puts in appearance on behalf of the respondent and on the basis of telephonic

COCP-1528-2020 [2] instruction as well as copy of order dated 07.08.2020, received via whatsapp, states that the BDPO, Panipat, has been directed to reinstate the petitioner. Order dated 07.08.2020, is taken on record and copy thereof forwarded to learned counsel for the petitioner, who on perusal of the same states that in the circumstances he does not press the contempt petition and the same may be disposed of by directing implementation of order No.4985 dated 07.08.2020, passed by the Deputy Commissioner, Panipat, in a time bound manner.

Learned Addl. AG, Haryana, states that needful would be done within three days from today in compliance with the order dated 07.08.2020, passed by the Deputy Commissioner, Panipat, in terms of order of this Court dated 18.12.2019.

In view of the position as noted above, no further order is called for at this stage.

Disposed of accordingly.
