(Oral) The prayer in the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus for release of detenue/Sukhmanpreet Singh son of the petitioner. The counsel for the State at the very outset submits that Sukhmanpreet Singh son of the petitioner and that of Jasbir Singh is residing happily with his father-Jasbir Singh at Village Sattowal, Tehsil Raikot, District Ludhiana. His statement has been recorded to the effect that he wishes to reside with his father only.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court.
