*** AVNEESH JHINGAN, J (ORAL) This petition is filed for issuance of directions to the official respondents to conduct free and fair investigation in FIR No. 31, dated 6th April, 2020, under Sections 324, 323, 148, 149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Sections 325, 308 IPC added later on) registered at Police Station Makhu, District Ferozepur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no progress in the matter. None of the accused have been arrested. Learned State counsel submits that the investigation is at advance stage. Four accused joined the investigation and remaining accused have been granted anticipatory bail by this Court today i.e. 15th March, 2021. He, on instructions submits that the needful would be done in the FIR as expeditiously as possible.

In view of above, no further direction is called for. Disposed of.
