Sukhmander Singh v. State Of Punjab And Others
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH CRM-M-42452 of 2017 Date of Decision: 09.112017 Sukhmander Singh ....Petitioner
Versus
The State of Punjab and others ....Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAMENDRA JAIN Present: - Mr. Pardeep Kumar, Advocate, for the petitioner. RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for direction to respondents No.1 to 4 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner from respondents No.5 to 10.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the purpose would be achieved if respondent No.3 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda, is directed to look into representation dated 09.10.2017 (Annexure P-3) moved by the petitioner, in a time-bound manner. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and after perusing the paper-book, but without commenting on merits of the case, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda, to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 09.10.2017 (Annexure P-3) after hearing the petitioner by passing a speaking order within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
