In the present petition, the challenge is to the impugned order dated 01.01.2025 (Annexure P-11) by which, the earlier application for issuance of the passport was filed by the petitioner has been closed by the respondents with the liberty to file a fresh application by giving the details of earlier application as well.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though he has already furnished all the documents but keeping in view the fact that the liberty has been given to him to file a fresh application with the authorities concerned, he has already filed a fresh application on 07.01.2025 but the same is still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a direction is issued to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner, so that the petitioner does not RIYA 2025.04.30 17:19 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Learned counsel on behalf of the respondent-State submits that in case, any fresh application has been submitted in the office of the concerned authorities by the petitioner on 07.01.2025 by following the process, the said application will be considered and the same will be taken to the logical end by the competent authority, in accordance with law, within a period of three months of the receipt of certified copy of this order. 4..

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned State counsel, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. 5.

Ordered accordingly.
