In the present petition, the prayer of the petitioner is for the issuance of direction to respondents No. 1 to 3 to promote the petitioner to the post of Auditor and thereafter, to the post of Accountant keeping in view the fact that employees junior to the petitioner have already been granted the said benefit of promotion.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already raised the said grievance in the representation dated 27.04.2010 (Annexure P-5) and has also send the reminders, but the same is still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a direction is issued to the respondents No. 1 to 3 to decide the same by passing an appropriate speaking order in a time bound manner. 3.
Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the representation filed by the petitioner is dated 27.04.2010 (Annexure P-5) and in case, any of the grievance which the petitioner raised in the year 2010 still exists in the year 2023, the petitioner is free to file an appropriate representation claiming the benefits of promotion with the concerned RIYA 2023.12.18 17:52 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP No. 12497 -2019 -22023:PHHC: 162509 authority and the same will be considered and decided in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of such representation, by passing appropriate speaking order and in case, after the decision, the petitioner is found entitled for any benefit, the same will be extended to him forthwith.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned State counsel, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed, at this stage, with liberty to file an appropriate representation with the authorities concerned. 5.
