Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Bhagwan Singh, Police Station Civil Lines, Gurgoan, submits that a Special Investigation Team ('SIT' for short) has been constituted under the supervision of Sh. Kishori Lal, Assistant Commissioner of Police, City Gurgaon and the SIT is carrying out an effective investigation, rendering the present petition as infructuous. CRM-M-42546 of 2014 Faced with the above, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that let the present petition be disposed with a direction to the respondent authorities to carry out an effective and early investigation.

In view of the above respective stands taken by learned counsel for both the parties, present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Commissioner of Police, Gurgaon, to ensure effective and expeditious investigation in FIR No.741 dated 23.10.2013 under Section 306/34 IPC, registered at Police Station Civil Lines, Gurgaon. Disposed of, accordingly.
