The present civil writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner on the post of Superintendet Grade-2 (Revenue) as the post of Superintendent Grade-2 (General) has been re-designated as Superintendent Grade-2 (Revenue) vide notification dated 10.06.2021, Annexure P-5.

Learned counsel would contend that the petitioner's post had to be re-designated as Superintendent Grade-2 (Revenue) as per the notification dated 10.06.2021, Annexure P-5, but respondent No.3 transferred her back to the office of Deputy Commissioner, Sangrur on the post of Superintendent Grade-2 (General). In this regard, a legal notice dated 02.03.2024, Annexure P-9, has been served upon respondents, which has yet not evoked any DINESH 2024.05.04 00:06 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

 

 





response. He thus, at this stage, on instructions, submits that the petitioner is sanguine of it being considered in a positive manner, in case, a direction is given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner by granting her an opportunity of hearing.
