'As per the First Information Report (FIR) contents, complainant, Sunil Kumar (age 37), a computer operator at the e-Sampark KIOSK in Sector-38, Chandigarh, reported that on the day of the incident, he arrived at the e-Sampark center around 8:00 AM and found two injured persons lying in a pool of blood in the park opposite the Sector-38D market. Sunil Kumar immediately informed the police via his mobile phone. PCR and an ambulance arrived and transported the two unconscious victims to the hospital. Later, Sunil Kumar learned that one of the injured persons had died in the hospital, and the second person was admitted for treatment. Complainant stated that some unknown person(s) had injured the victims with the intention to kill. 4.

Petitioner is the sole accused. It is alleged that petitioner murdered two individuals by throwing a heavy stone upon them while they were sleeping. Petitioner was apprehended on suspicion, as he was seen near the area of occurrence, as per CCTV footage. Another piece of incriminating evidence relied upon by the prosecution is the recovery of clothes worn by the petitioner, which were allegedly stained with blood matching the blood group of the deceased.
