(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner, in a case arising out of FIR No. 55, dated 23.03.2014, registered at Police Station Chamkaur Sahib, District Rupnagar, who has been booked for having committed the offence punishable under Sections 406/420 IPC.
The allegation against the present petitioner that he along with one Chamkaur Singh had duped the complainant of Rs.3,50,000/- on the pretext of sending him abroad. As per allegations in the F.I.R, Chamkaur Singh is alleged to have received money, who has not been arrested till date and has been declared proclaimed offender.
Learned State counsel on instructions from Head Constable Hukam Singh submits that after framing of charges, the trial is fixed for recording statement of 8 prosecution witnesses.

Crl. Misc.No. M-42574 of 2014 (O&M) -2I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and with their able assistance gone through the material available on record.
Keeping in view the period of incarceration of the petitioner, this court feels that there is no need to detain the petitioners any longer, Accordingly, the present petition is allowed. Petitioners are ordered to be released on bail during pendency of the trial of the present case, subject to their furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, Rupnagar.
